Life is a Struggle
Life is a struggle. Nothing in life comes easily. Every living thing (creature) has to do same work to do. But, food does not come to them easily. Animals often fight one another for food. Big animals kil yonger and weaker animals for food. so even animals have to struggle for their living.
With the help of science, life is every wonderfel today. So many new things are invented everyday. But they are not cheap. Every new things are invented everday. But they are not cheap. Every new thing, like the television and MP# player, video, is expensive. Man has to work harder to be able to buy them.
Prices of essential things, food and clothes are rising almost daily. One income is not enough for the family. Every one in the family, must work. A woman's place is no longer in the kitchen only. And many men are doing kitchen work. There are many working wives and working mothers today. I can't kitchen and cooking. This is the age of work, the age of struggle. I am work busy. he he. but mother is already in the kitchen. Isn't it the Buddha who gives you blessings. It's our wholesome minds that bear great benefit. The mind is most powerful in the world. We think, speak and act as directed by our minds. Good minds with good intentions perform good actions. These good actions bring good benefits to all. Remember the Newton's Law in physice. To every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. So good actions will bring good reactions and good benefits. That is a beautiful natural Law. So we must think, speak and act with good intentions. You see. Right. That is the essence of the Buddha's teachings. We avoid to harm others. We try to help others. Well, there are ups and downs in life. Don't forget to do meritorious deeds. Perseverance will bring success. |
